Thing 19: Two sites I plan on using are .Docstoc.com and comiqs.com First, on e .Docstoc I search Special Education Law, and came across many articles on Special Education and RtI. I am especially interested in how to qualify students for special education without using our current discrepency formula. I plan on connecting to this site often. I am also going to recommend it to other coworkers in my department. I also think it would be a good source for parents to view the many laws that involve special education.
With the comiqs.com site students will be able to use this site for writing assignments. It is very visual, involves interaction with technology, and can be entertaining. I plan of using this in my literature and humanities class to have students create their own prose or poetry. I'll practice on it this summer in order to be proficient in August.
